Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pine Trees By The Rock by Zhang Shiyuan was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2017. It changed hands for a price of HKD 75,000.00 (€ 8,254.64) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Zhang Shiyuan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mountain Stream In The Mist in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 300,000.00 (€ 34,671.21).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Pine Trees By The Rock von Zhang Shiyuan kam im Oktober 2017 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 8.254,64) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhang Shiyuan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mountain Stream In The Mist im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 300.000,00 (€ 34.671,21).
