The work Lakeside Hermitage by Zhang Shiyuan was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2018. It achieved a price of HKD 93,750.00 (€ 9,892.12), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 56%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zhang Shiyuan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mountain Stream In The Mist, which sold at auction in April 2015 for HKD 300,000.00 (€ 34,671.21).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 56 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Lakeside Hermitage von Zhang Shiyuan kam im April 2018 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 93.750,00 (€ 9.892,12) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 56%. Für andere Arbeiten von Zhang Shiyuan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mountain Stream In The Mist beobachtet, die im April 2015 für HKD 300.000,00 (€ 34.671,21) versteigert wurde.
