Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Zhang Shiyuan achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2013. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Lofty Mountain Landscape sold for HKD 125,000.00 (€ 12,236.10) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 45,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zhang Shiyuan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mountain Stream In The Mist, which sold at auction in April 2015 for HKD 300,000.00 (€ 34,671.21).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zhang Shiyuan erzielte im April 2013 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Lofty Mountain Landscape für HKD 125.000,00 (€ 12.236,10) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 45.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Zhang Shiyuan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mountain Stream In The Mist beobachtet, die im April 2015 für HKD 300.000,00 (€ 34.671,21) versteigert wurde.
