The work Landscape; Calligraphy In Zhuanshu by Zhang Shiyuan was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2016. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 93,750.00 (€ 10,562.34), 56% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zhang Shiyuan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mountain Stream In The Mist, which sold at auction in April 2015 for HKD 300,000.00 (€ 34,671.21).

Die Arbeit Landscape; Calligraphy In Zhuanshu von Zhang Shiyuan wurde im April 2016 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 93.750,00 (€ 10.562,34) und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Zhang Shiyuan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mountain Stream In The Mist beobachtet, die im April 2015 für HKD 300.000,00 (€ 34.671,21) versteigert wurde.
