Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Zhang Shiyuan achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2012. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Lake View sold for HKD 162,500.00 (€ 16,177.27) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 70,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zhang Shiyuan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mountain Stream In The Mist, which sold at auction in April 2015 for HKD 300,000.00 (€ 34,671.21).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zhang Shiyuan erzielte im Oktober 2012 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Lake View für HKD 162.500,00 (€ 16.177,27) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 70.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Zhang Shiyuan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mountain Stream In The Mist beobachtet, die im April 2015 für HKD 300.000,00 (€ 34.671,21) versteigert wurde.
