The work Eight-Character Couplet In Oracle Script by Zhang Shiyuan was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April 2015. It achieved a price of HKD 25,300.00 (€ 2,923.94), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 27%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Shiyuan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mountain Stream In The Mist in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 300,000.00 (€ 34,671.21).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 27 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Eight-Character Couplet In Oracle Script von Zhang Shiyuan kam im April 2015 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 25.300,00 (€ 2.923,94) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 27%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Shiyuan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mountain Stream In The Mist im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 300.000,00 (€ 34.671,21).
