Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2017 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy II, which included the work Plum Blossom And Orchid by Zhang Shen. The price achieved of HKD 29,500.00 (€ 3,246.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Shen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape Of Mountain Lu in April 2018 with an auction result of HKD 318,600.00 (€ 33,617.39).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2017 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Plum Blossom And Orchid von Zhang Shen zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 29.500,00 (€ 3.246,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Shen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape Of Mountain Lu im April 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 318.600,00 (€ 33.617,39).
