The work Fragrance of Flowers by Zhang Shen was sold in the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2011. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 106,250.00 (€ 10,164.55), 33% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zhang Shen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape Of Mountain Lu, which sold at auction in April 2018 for HKD 318,600.00 (€ 33,617.39).

Die Arbeit Fragrance of Flowers von Zhang Shen wurde im November 2011 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 106.250,00 (€ 10.164,55) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Zhang Shen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscape Of Mountain Lu beobachtet, die im April 2018 für HKD 318.600,00 (€ 33.617,39) versteigert wurde.
