Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2018 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings, which included the work Wang Bo’S Poem In Running Script by Zhang Ruitu. The price achieved of HKD 212,500.00 (€ 23,927.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 180,000.00 – 260,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Ruitu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Eighteen Luohan in September 2016 with an auction result of USD 2,230,000.00 (€ 1,984,338.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2018 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Wang Bo’S Poem In Running Script von Zhang Ruitu zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 212.500,00 (€ 23.927,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 180.000,00 – 260.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Ruitu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Eighteen Luohan im September 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.230.000,00 (€ 1.984.338,85).
