Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April last year Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings, which included the work Calligraphy in Running Script by Zhang Ruitu. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 200,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 201,600.00 (€ 24,374.91). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Ruitu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Eighteen Luohan in September 2016 with an auction result of USD 2,230,000.00 (€ 1,984,338.85).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy in Running Script von Zhang Ruitu zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 200.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 201.600,00 (€ 24.374,91) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Ruitu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Eighteen Luohan im September 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.230.000,00 (€ 1.984.338,85).
