Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy In Running Script by Zhang Ruitu was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2021. The price achieved of HKD 176,400.00 (€ 18,886.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 150,000.00 – 220,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Ruitu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Eighteen Luohan in September 2016 with an auction result of USD 2,230,000.00 (€ 1,984,338.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy In Running Script von Zhang Ruitu kam im April 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 176.400,00 (€ 18.886,38) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 150.000,00 – 220.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Ruitu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Eighteen Luohan im September 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.230.000,00 (€ 1.984.338,85).
