Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2015 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern Asian Art, which included the work Girl From Ai Ni In Silver Head Dress by Zhang Li. The price achieved of HKD 200,000.00 (€ 23,365.33) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 160,000.00 – 240,000.00. Admittedly, works by Zhang Li have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Shepherd in March 2007 with an auction result of USD 180,000.00 (€ 134,589.50).
