Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2021 China Guardian held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Poem In Seal Script by Zhang Ding. The price achieved of HKD 30,000.00 (€ 3,337.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Ding achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Smoky Landscape Of Qilian in July last year with an auction result of HKD 2,880,000.00 (€ 359,364.83).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2021 führte China Guardian die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Poem In Seal Script von Zhang Ding zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 30.000,00 (€ 3.337,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Ding erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Smoky Landscape Of Qilian im Juli letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.880.000,00 (€ 359.364,83).
