In June 2015 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction The Feng Wen Tang Collection Of Chinese Paintings, which included the work Terraced Fields by Zhang Ding. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 237,500.00 (€ 27,467.72), 32% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Ding achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Smoky Landscape Of Qilian in July last year with an auction result of HKD 2,880,000.00 (€ 359,364.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 32 % übertroffen
Im Juni 2015 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion The Feng Wen Tang Collection Of Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Terraced Fields von Zhang Ding zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 237.500,00 (€ 27.467,72) und damit 32% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Ding erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Smoky Landscape Of Qilian im Juli letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.880.000,00 (€ 359.364,83).
