Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Seven-Character Poem in Cursive Script by Zhang Bi was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2017. The price achieved of HKD 375,000.00 (€ 40,374.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 300,000.00 – 500,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Bi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Thousand Character Classic In Cursive Script in March 2015 with an auction result of USD 874,000.00 (€ 813,704.50).
