This artwork by Zhai Dakun achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in June 2015. In the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Peach Blossoms Land sold for HKD 47,500.00 (€ 5,493.54) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhai Dakun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Scenery Of Wonderlands in October 2018 with an auction result of HKD 1,000,000.00 (€ 112,601.48).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zhai Dakun erzielte im Juni 2015 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Peach Blossoms Land für HKD 47.500,00 (€ 5.493,54) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhai Dakun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Scenery Of Wonderlands im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.000.000,00 (€ 112.601,48).
