Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2016 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas, which included the work Pathless Woods by Zhai Dakun. The price achieved of HKD 23,600.00 (€ 2,727.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhai Dakun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Scenery Of Wonderlands in October 2018 with an auction result of HKD 1,000,000.00 (€ 112,601.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2016 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pathless Woods von Zhai Dakun zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 23.600,00 (€ 2.727,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhai Dakun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Scenery Of Wonderlands im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.000.000,00 (€ 112.601,48).
