Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape After Guan Tong by Zhai Dakun was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2019. It changed hands for a price of HKD 187,500.00 (€ 21,430.97) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. Admittedly, works by Zhai Dakun have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Scenery Of Wonderlands in October 2018 with an auction result of HKD 1,000,000.00 (€ 112,601.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape After Guan Tong von Zhai Dakun kam im Oktober 2019 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 187.500,00 (€ 21.430,97) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 150.000,00 – 200.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhai Dakun auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Scenery Of Wonderlands im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.000.000,00 (€ 112.601,48).
