In October 2017 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy II, which included the work Landscape by Zhai Dakun. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 153,400.00 (€ 16,883.48), 28% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Zhai Dakun have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Scenery Of Wonderlands in October 2018 with an auction result of HKD 1,000,000.00 (€ 112,601.48).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 28 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2017 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape von Zhai Dakun zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 153.400,00 (€ 16.883,48) und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhai Dakun auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Scenery Of Wonderlands im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.000.000,00 (€ 112.601,48).
