In October 2015 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Ink Art, which included the work With A Heart Of Hong Ren by Tseng Yuho. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 250,000.00 (€ 29,206.67), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tseng Yuho - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Fishpond, Hawaii-Kai (Diptych), which sold at auction in October 2016 for HKD 725,000.00 (€ 85,317.46).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2015 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Ink Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit With A Heart Of Hong Ren von Tseng Yuho zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 29.206,67) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Tseng Yuho mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Fishpond, Hawaii-Kai (Diptych) beobachtet, die im Oktober 2016 für HKD 725.000,00 (€ 85.317,46) versteigert wurde.
