Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work The Analects Of Confucius (Set Of Ten Works) by Tseng Yuho for HKD 150,000.00 (€ 17,524.00). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Ink Art at Sothebys in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 160,000.00 – 200,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Tseng Yuho have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Fishpond, Hawaii-Kai (Diptych) in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 725,000.00 (€ 85,317.46).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The Analects Of Confucius (Set Of Ten Works) von Tseng Yuho für HKD 150.000,00 (€ 17.524,00) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Ink Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 160.000,00 – 200.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tseng Yuho auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Fishpond, Hawaii-Kai (Diptych) im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 725.000,00 (€ 85.317,46).
