This price was achieved in the auction Takahashi Kouhou Collection at China Guardian and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 15,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Zeng Xi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 375,000.00 (€ 42,861.95).

Die Arbeit Running Script, Trees And Flowers von Zeng Xi war einem Käufer im Oktober 2021 HKD 62.400,00 (€ 6.941,14) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Takahashi Kouhou Collection bei China Guardian erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 15.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zeng Xi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 375.000,00 (€ 42.861,95).
