Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Couplet In Running Script by Zeng Xi was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at China Guardian in October this year. The price achieved of HKD 72,000.00 (€ 8,707.04) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Zeng Xi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 375,000.00 (€ 42,861.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Couplet In Running Script von Zeng Xi wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 72.000,00 (€ 8.707,04) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zeng Xi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 375.000,00 (€ 42.861,95).
