Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy by Zeng Xi was auctioned at China Guardian in October 2021. It changed hands for a price of HKD 54,000.00 (€ 6,006.75) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 25,000.00 – 55,000.00. Admittedly, works by Zeng Xi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 375,000.00 (€ 42,861.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy von Zeng Xi kam im Oktober 2021 bei China Guardian zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 54.000,00 (€ 6.006,75) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 25.000,00 – 55.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zeng Xi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 375.000,00 (€ 42.861,95).
