Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2015 Sothebys in New York held the auction Saturday at Sotheby's: Asian Art, which included the work Couplet In Running Script by Zeng Keduan. The price achieved of USD 2,125.00 (€ 1,903.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zeng Keduan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Seven-Character Couplet In Running Script, which sold at auction in October 2015 for HKD 47,200.00 (€ 5,514.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2015 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Saturday at Sotheby's: Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Couplet In Running Script von Zeng Keduan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.125,00 (€ 1.903,78) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Zeng Keduan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Seven-Character Couplet In Running Script beobachtet, die im Oktober 2015 für HKD 47.200,00 (€ 5.514,22) versteigert wurde.
