The work Paper Bride - Between Two Worlds by Zeng Chuanxing was worth HKD 2,647,500.00 (€ 218,187.47) to a buyer in April 2008. This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Chinese Art II at Sothebys in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 800,000.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zeng Chuanxing - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Paper Bride - Prayer, which sold at auction in May 2007 for HKD 5,024,000.00 (€ 478,387.27).

Die Arbeit Paper Bride - Between Two Worlds von Zeng Chuanxing war einem Käufer im April 2008 HKD 2.647.500,00 (€ 218.187,47) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Chinese Art II bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 800.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Für andere Arbeiten von Zeng Chuanxing mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Paper Bride - Prayer beobachtet, die im Mai 2007 für HKD 5.024.000,00 (€ 478.387,27) versteigert wurde.
