Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Kiss, 2020 by Lutanda Zemba Luzamba was sold in the African Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in November 2021. The price achieved of EUR 7,800.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 6,000.00 – 9,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lutanda Zemba Luzamba have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cigars, Cognac and Lemon in November 2021 with an auction result of GBP 27,720.00 (€ 32,545.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Kiss, 2020 von Lutanda Zemba Luzamba wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion African Contemporary Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 7.800,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 6.000,00 – 9.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lutanda Zemba Luzamba auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cigars, Cognac and Lemon im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.720,00 (€ 32.545,89).
