Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Character 3, 2020 by Lutanda Zemba Luzamba was auctioned at Artcurial in November this year. It achieved a price of MAD 59,040.00 (€ 5,407.13), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18%. Admittedly, works by Lutanda Zemba Luzamba have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cigars, Cognac and Lemon in November 2021 with an auction result of GBP 27,720.00 (€ 32,545.89).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Character 3, 2020 von Lutanda Zemba Luzamba kam im November diesen Jahres bei Artcurial zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von MAD 59.040,00 (€ 5.407,13) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lutanda Zemba Luzamba auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cigars, Cognac and Lemon im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.720,00 (€ 32.545,89).
