Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cigar and rum, 2022 by Lutanda Zemba Luzamba was sold in the Contemporary African Art Online auction at Artcurial in May this year. The price achieved of EUR 6,560.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 5,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lutanda Zemba Luzamba have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cigars, Cognac and Lemon in November 2021 with an auction result of GBP 27,720.00 (€ 32,545.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Cigar and rum, 2022 von Lutanda Zemba Luzamba wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion Contemporary African Art Online bei Artcurial versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 6.560,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 5.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lutanda Zemba Luzamba auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cigars, Cognac and Lemon im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.720,00 (€ 32.545,89).
