Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pélerins, 2021 by Lutanda Zemba Luzamba was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in May last year. The price achieved of EUR 10,496.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lutanda Zemba Luzamba - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Cigars, Cognac and Lemon, which sold at auction in November 2021 for GBP 27,720.00 (€ 32,545.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Pélerins, 2021 von Lutanda Zemba Luzamba kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 10.496,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Lutanda Zemba Luzamba mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Cigars, Cognac and Lemon beobachtet, die im November 2021 für GBP 27.720,00 (€ 32.545,89) versteigert wurde.
