Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Networking I, 2020 by Lutanda Zemba Luzamba was sold in the African Contemporary Art Online auction at Artcurial in March last year. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 7,216.00 20% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Lutanda Zemba Luzamba have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cigars, Cognac and Lemon in November 2021 with an auction result of GBP 27,720.00 (€ 32,545.89).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Networking I, 2020 von Lutanda Zemba Luzamba wurde im März letzten Jahres in der Auktion African Contemporary Art Online bei Artcurial versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 7.216,00 und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lutanda Zemba Luzamba auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cigars, Cognac and Lemon im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.720,00 (€ 32.545,89).
