Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2021 Artcurial in Marrakech held the auction A Moroccan Spring, which included the work Jeux De Dames, 2020 by Lutanda Zemba Luzamba. The price achieved of MAD 104,000.00 (€ 9,125.80) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as MAD 88,000.00 – 132,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lutanda Zemba Luzamba - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Cigars, Cognac and Lemon, which sold at auction in November 2021 for GBP 27,720.00 (€ 32,545.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2021 führte Artcurial in Marrakesch die Auktion A Moroccan Spring durch, in der auch die Arbeit Jeux De Dames, 2020 von Lutanda Zemba Luzamba zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von MAD 104.000,00 (€ 9.125,80) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit MAD 88.000,00 – 132.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Lutanda Zemba Luzamba mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Cigars, Cognac and Lemon beobachtet, die im November 2021 für GBP 27.720,00 (€ 32.545,89) versteigert wurde.
