Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Yvonne Canu could be acquired at Christies in New York in June 2016 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Living With Art auction, the work Le jardin changed hands for USD 2,500.00 (€ 2,266.13) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 500,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yvonne Canu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Crépuscule sur Paris in February 2008 with an auction result of USD 118,600.00 (€ 78,093.11).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Yvonne Canu konnte im Juni 2016 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Living With Art wechselte die Arbeit Le jardin für USD 2.500,00 (€ 2.266,13) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 500.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yvonne Canu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Crépuscule sur Paris im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 118.600,00 (€ 78.093,11).
