Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Fruits by Yves Oppenheim for GBP 438.00 (€ 612.65). This price was achieved in the auction A Visual Odyssey Selections from LAC (Lambert Art Collection) Staged by Jacques Grange at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yves Oppenheim achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Citrons in May 2021 with an auction result of EUR 10,625.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Fruits von Yves Oppenheim für GBP 438,00 (€ 612,65) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion A Visual Odyssey Selections from LAC (Lambert Art Collection) Staged by Jacques Grange bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yves Oppenheim erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Citrons im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 10.625,00.
