Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Les Lavandières à Ramatuelle by Yves Brayer was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in June 2021. Here, the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 6,300.00 (€ 5,317.35). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yves Brayer - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Le Rocher Blanc Au Cypres, Les Baux, 1960, which sold at auction in June 2007 for EUR 17,968.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Les Lavandières à Ramatuelle von Yves Brayer kam im Juni 2021 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 6.300,00 (€ 5.317,35) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Yves Brayer mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Le Rocher Blanc Au Cypres, Les Baux, 1960 beobachtet, die im Juni 2007 für EUR 17.968,00 versteigert wurde.
