Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Trois Nus Sur La Plage by Yves Alix was sold in the Modern Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in October 2011. The price achieved of EUR 638.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yves Alix achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Été in July 2008 with an auction result of EUR 12,500.00.

Die Arbeit Trois Nus Sur La Plage von Yves Alix wurde im Oktober 2011 in der Auktion Modern Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 638,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yves Alix erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Été im Juli 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 12.500,00.
