This artwork by Yves Alix achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in February 2008. In the Modern Art auction, the work Etude Pour Retour De Peche, Saint-Tropez, 1957 sold for EUR 310.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 150.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yves Alix achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Été in July 2008 with an auction result of EUR 12,500.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Yves Alix erzielte im Februar 2008 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern Art wurde die Arbeit Etude Pour Retour De Peche, Saint-Tropez, 1957 für EUR 310,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 150,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yves Alix erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Été im Juli 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 12.500,00.
