Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2011 Sothebys in London held the auction Important Russian Art, which included the work View Through A Window, Moscow by Yuri Ivanovich Pimenov. The price achieved of GBP 361,250.00 (€ 399,655.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300,000.00 – 500,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yuri Ivanovich Pimenov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work First Of May Celebration, 1950, which sold at auction in November 2010 for USD 1,538,500.00 (€ 1,180,193.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2011 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Important Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit View Through A Window, Moscow von Yuri Ivanovich Pimenov zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 361.250,00 (€ 399.655,98) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 300.000,00 – 500.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Yuri Ivanovich Pimenov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit First Of May Celebration, 1950 beobachtet, die im November 2010 für USD 1.538.500,00 (€ 1.180.193,31) versteigert wurde.
