Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction Art of the Soviet Union, which included the work 'A New Round Of Beers Appeared On The Table', Illustration For A Newspaper by Yuri Ivanovich Pimenov. The price achieved of GBP 81,250.00 (€ 92,230.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 70,000.00 – 90,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yuri Ivanovich Pimenov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work First Of May Celebration, 1950 in November 2010 with an auction result of USD 1,538,500.00 (€ 1,180,193.31).

Im November 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Art of the Soviet Union durch, in der auch die Arbeit 'A New Round Of Beers Appeared On The Table', Illustration For A Newspaper von Yuri Ivanovich Pimenov zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 81.250,00 (€ 92.230,84) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 70.000,00 – 90.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yuri Ivanovich Pimenov erzielen.
