In June 2014 Sothebys in London held the auction Important Russian Art, which included the work Memories Of Bread Rationing During The War by Yuri Ivanovich Pimenov. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 500,000.00 – 700,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 506,500.00 (€ 632,847.52) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Yuri Ivanovich Pimenov have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2010 the work First Of May Celebration, 1950 was auctioned for USD 1,538,500.00 (€ 1,180,193.31).

Im Juni 2014 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Important Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Memories Of Bread Rationing During The War von Yuri Ivanovich Pimenov zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 500.000,00 – 700.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 506.500,00 (€ 632.847,52) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
