Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Posters In The Rain by Yuri Ivanovich Pimenov was sold in the Important Russian Art auction at Sothebys in London in June 2014. The price achieved of GBP 302,500.00 (€ 377,959.28) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 250,000.00 – 350,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yuri Ivanovich Pimenov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work First Of May Celebration, 1950, which sold at auction in November 2010 for USD 1,538,500.00 (€ 1,180,193.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Posters In The Rain von Yuri Ivanovich Pimenov wurde im Juni 2014 in der Auktion Important Russian Art bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 302.500,00 (€ 377.959,28) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 250.000,00 – 350.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Yuri Ivanovich Pimenov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit First Of May Celebration, 1950 beobachtet, die im November 2010 für USD 1.538.500,00 (€ 1.180.193,31) versteigert wurde.
