Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 182,500.00 (€ 213,010.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yuri Ivanovich Pimenov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work First Of May Celebration, 1950 in November 2010 with an auction result of USD 1,538,500.00 (€ 1,180,193.31).
