Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Russian Still Life by Yuri Ivanovich Pimenov was sold in the Russian Art auction at Sothebys in New York in April 2008. The price achieved of USD 289,000.00 (€ 185,637.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 250,000.00 – 350,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yuri Ivanovich Pimenov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work First Of May Celebration, 1950 in November 2010 with an auction result of USD 1,538,500.00 (€ 1,180,193.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
