Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Construction Worker by Yuri Ivanovich Pimenov was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2011. The price achieved of GBP 46,850.00 (€ 54,692.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yuri Ivanovich Pimenov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work First Of May Celebration, 1950 in November 2010 with an auction result of USD 1,538,500.00 (€ 1,180,193.31).
