Auction result misses estimated price range
When this work without title by Yuree Kensaku was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2018, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for HKD 5,000.00 (€ 563.01). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yuree Kensaku achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Baby Don'T Cry in October 2015 with an auction result of HKD 75,000.00 (€ 8,762.00).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Yuree Kensaku im Oktober 2018 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für HKD 5.000,00 (€ 563,01) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yuree Kensaku erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Baby Don'T Cry im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 8.762,00).
