Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Yuree Kensaku could be acquired at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Art auction, this work without title changed hands for HKD 35,000.00 (€ 4,088.93) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yuree Kensaku - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Baby Don'T Cry, which sold at auction in October 2015 for HKD 75,000.00 (€ 8,762.00).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Yuree Kensaku konnte im Oktober 2015 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Art wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für HKD 35.000,00 (€ 4.088,93) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Yuree Kensaku mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Baby Don'T Cry beobachtet, die im Oktober 2015 für HKD 75.000,00 (€ 8.762,00) versteigert wurde.
