Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Yun Shouping could be acquired at Christies in Hong Kong in May last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Bird and Plum Blossoms changed hands for HKD 140,000.00 (€ 16,621.00) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yun Shouping achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Fragrance of a Nation in Clearing Spring in November 2021 with an auction result of HKD 59,650,000.00 (€ 6,632,475.41).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Yun Shouping konnte im Mai letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy wechselte die Arbeit Bird and Plum Blossoms für HKD 140.000,00 (€ 16.621,00) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yun Shouping erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Fragrance of a Nation in Clearing Spring im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 59.650.000,00 (€ 6.632.475,41).
