Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Correspondence by Yun Shouping was sold in the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May last year. The price achieved of HKD 3,024,000.00 (€ 359,013.70) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 2,600,000.00 – 3,200,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yun Shouping achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Fragrance of a Nation in Clearing Spring in November 2021 with an auction result of HKD 59,650,000.00 (€ 6,632,475.41).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Correspondence von Yun Shouping wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 3.024.000,00 (€ 359.013,70) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 2.600.000,00 – 3.200.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yun Shouping erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Fragrance of a Nation in Clearing Spring im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 59.650.000,00 (€ 6.632.475,41).
