Twelve fans mounted as an album, ink and color on gold paper, each leaf inscribed by the artist, leaf four, six, seven, nine and twelve dated 1671, 1670, 1669, 1686 and 1665 respectively, signed Shu shi Shouping, Yun Shouping, Dongyuan Shouping, Nantian Shouping, Shouping and Piling Yun Shouping, each fan with one or two artist's seals, including Zhengshu, Shouping and Yun Ge in intaglio and relief, ran han in relief and Yun Zhengshu in intaglio, with eleven imperial seals of Qing emperors reading Shiqu Baoji, Shiqu ding jian, Baoji chongbian, Qianlong yulan zhi bao, Jiaqing yulan zhi bao, Leshoutang jiancang bao, Ningshougong xu ru Shiqu Baoji, Xuantong yulan zhi bao, Qianlong jianshang, Sanxitang jingjian xi and yi zisun.

Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscapes and Flowers, 1665-1686 by Yun Shouping was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in September this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 300,000.00 – 500,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 318,000.00 (€ 300,453.51) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yun Shouping achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Fragrance of a Nation in Clearing Spring in November 2021 with an auction result of HKD 59,650,000.00 (€ 6,632,475.41).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscapes and Flowers, 1665-1686 von Yun Shouping wurde im September diesen Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 300.000,00 – 500.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 318.000,00 (€ 300.453,51) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yun Shouping erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Fragrance of a Nation in Clearing Spring im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 59.650.000,00 (€ 6.632.475,41).
