Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Umber Blue by Yun Hyong-Keun was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2017. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 1,200,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 1,250,000.00 (€ 147,544.75). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yun Hyong-Keun - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Umber-Blue 7-IIII-75, which sold at auction in May 2016 for HKD 4,600,000.00 (€ 531,674.90).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Umber Blue von Yun Hyong-Keun kam im April 2017 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 1.200.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 1.250.000,00 (€ 147.544,75) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Yun Hyong-Keun mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Umber-Blue 7-IIII-75 beobachtet, die im Mai 2016 für HKD 4.600.000,00 (€ 531.674,90) versteigert wurde.
